Checkpoints
A checkpoint captures workspace progress so you can return to an earlier point while experimenting with an agent.
Checkpoints belong to the local repository. They are not a replacement for an independent backup or a pushed branch.
Restore carefully
Stop active work before restoring a checkpoint. Review which workspace and checkpoint you have selected. Restore replaces that workspace’s current files and Git state with the checkpoint’s saved state.
Copperbar preserves a recovery snapshot before a restore, and restores the recorded branch position and staging state. Check the resulting diff before starting another agent.
For work you need to keep long term, commit it and push it to a repository you control.
